Since 1993, Shelly has been educating attorneys and injured individuals on the many benefits of structured settlements.
Shelly served over 10 years as Director of Operations for one of the largest structured settlement firms in the country. Shelly's experience assisting brokers range from handling small personal injury claims to large class action suits.
In 2002, Shelly was nominated and recognized as a founding associate member of the Society of Settlement Planners (SSP). The SSP was established to assist injury victims, claimants and attorneys in resolving their legal financial claims, and to advocate the injury victims right to choose settlement planning advisors and financial and guarantee products.
In 2003, Shelly joined John Hancock Structured Settlements as a Sales Executive and has continued efforts in marketing the tax free structured settlement product, as well as the tax deferred option to structure the attorneys fees.
Recognizing a tremendous need for injured parties to learn about this spendthrift protective option, Shelly established Structured Settlements - Shelly Justice in Iowa. She remains committed to furthering education and representing the best interests of the injured party. Shelly has been a guest lecturer for Iowa Association of Legal Assistants, Polk County Woman Attorneys' Luncheon, DMACC Torts and Litigation class and interviewed on the Update Today radio show. Shelly welcomes the opportunity to speak about structured settlements in any forum.
Shelly is a member of the National Structured Settlement Trade Association (NSSTA) and an associate of Delta Group of Settlement Companies.
